“Hey. Who’s this? You the new chick? Hey, be careful. You might end up like Rica Sicat.”
Rica composes herself and heads back to the examination room to take the paper. Meanwhile, Audrey brings out wine to celebrate their family’s victory at the big house, only for her dear husband to snatch it away from her. Troy gives Audrey a look before disappearing with the wine and returning empty handed.
The Ramoneses cook up a plan to handle the anti-voyeurism case against Jigs (complaint against Jigs for recording Rica without her consent). This gets Troy upset and he decides to go out for some breathing space. Alberto his father joins him and thanks him for his loyalty to their family, saying that they’re still in a position of power all thanks to him.
While Rica is busy with her exams, some gossips begin staring at her after going through their phones. At home, Nico discusses with Bea the anti-voyeurism case against Jigs. Nico takes comfort in the second case filed against Jigs, though Bea points out that it’s bailable. Without wasting time, Bobby initiates his cunning design by having Jigs turn himself in for recording Rica without her consent.
After putting on a show in front of the press and making himself look like the honourable councilor he portrays himself to be, Jigs receives a phone call from Archie, who taunts him over the mess he created for him. Jigs alerts his father, just as Audrey fails to reach Troy on the phone at home.
Jigs thrëãtens Archie with his family, and he in turn taunts him with publicizing the chats history of their sinful group. Jigs argues that the group has already been deleted and Archie shöōts back, saying that he has screenshots. He then hangs up and disposes off the SIM card he had called with. Rica, by accident, sees the trending video of Jigs having been acquitted of the räpê charge.
While Dan waits for his daughter outside the school, a shadowy figure approaches. Rica puts some distance between them, but eventually comes face-to-face with her pursuer – her biological father Troy. Rica asks why he’s following her and Troy says he had been angry and worried after learning of the court’s decision.
“If you’re really worried and upset about everything that is happening to me right now, then why don’t you tell everyone you believe my side of the story,” Rica disputes. “Why don’t you tell them the truth – that your nephew actually rãpêd me.”
Troy remains silent. Outside, Dan gets worried when his daughter is a no-show for some time, and thus decides to go look for her. Meanwhile, Rica lashes out at Troy for not having the guts to side with her, saying that it’s because his family’s political record is more important than her. After giving him some more pieces of her mind, Rica walks away, crying.
Dan runs into Rica and asks what had happened since she hadn’t been answering his texts. Rica merely hugs him, still crying and as Troy spies, Dan asks if someone had hurt her again. Rica claims it’s because of her board exams. Father and daughter have a moment before leaving together. Troy looks on dejectedly.
Jigs is all worked up over the stunt Archie had pulled on him earlier. His blabbering annoys his father, who roughs him a bit before demanding that he clean up his mess. After Bobby leaves, Raven shows up with a present. A moment later, while Jigs is inside, a phone call comes through and since he had left it on the table, Raven decides to answer the call.
“Hello?”
“Hey. Who’s this? You are the new chick?” Archie taunts. “Hey, be careful. You might end up like Rica Sicat.”Raven is gloriously confused. “Who is this?” “Just tell Jigs that I’m sending him a reminder.”
Archie hangs up and sends a revealing video to Jigs’ phone with an incriminating caption as bonus. Raven is dumbfounded at the sight. Enter the man of the hour, who comes to snatch his phone away. Raven questions him about the video and Jigs claims it’s from some stranger who’s been harassing him. An outburst from Jigs has Raven take off.
Jigs sees the videos Archie had sent him earlier. He’s beside himself and pretty worked up after he fails to reach Archie on the phone over and over again. Meanwhile, Karla points out Rica’s indifferent attitude even after her räpê complaint had been dismissed. Dan says it’s better that way so she can move on with her life.
During breakfast at the Ramones, Audrey pesters and nags Troy, questioning him about where he had disappeared to earlier. Troy gives a vague answer, but eventually decides to skip breakfast on account of his wife’s unending provocations. Raven ignores Jigs’ phone calls and when her mother asks about it, she says she’ll just call him later.
Karla meets the absence of the prosecutor and has to deal with a quite obnoxious secretary, to talk about her daughter’s räpê case. Meanwhile, trouble brews at the Ramones as one of Jigs’ friends accuses him of dragging them into his mess. Jigs connects with a punch and the other guys intervene to halt the fîght.
While Nico, Bea and Pogs plan a surprise for Rica’s return home from her board exams, Karla goes to see attorney Dizon, who offers to file an appeal and see to it that Jigs gets the punishment he deserves. Karla asks if her daughter will be able to get through her ordeal. Laura states that Rica has a long way to go because she had been robbed her ability to trust in herself and those around her.
Rica stands on a chair at the apex of the abandoned building and gladly screams her lungs out, excited to have finished her exams. Back at attorney Dizon’s office, Karla expresses her worries over her daughter’s wellbeing, afraid that she’s been pushing herself too hard. Laura states that everything Rica is doing is what she thinks is necessary.
“No one can tell her what she’s doing is right or wrong,” Laura says. “Just be there for her. Be patient. She’ll open up eventually.”
“I appreciate it,” Karla merely says. “About that appeal.”
“But I’ll have to warn you – it may take a while for our appeal to be granted. As for the anti-voyeurism case, I hope you see that it’s still a worthy fight. If we win this case for her, it’s going to be good for Rica. Justice may be slow and unfair sometimes, but that doesn’t mean this is something we should give up on.”
Raven checks out Balai Arkitektura, Kyle’s company on the internet. A phone call comes in from cousin Jigs but she ignores it this time too. She recalls what Archie had told her before, as well as Jigs’ outburst. Since she’s refused to pick up her calls, Jigs sends her a text message, saying that she’s the only one he has left.
Rica finds a motivational message written on the wall, presumably by Kyle – “Everything is possible as long as you fight for it”. Another message reads, “Anything that is broken can be fixed, keep fighting”. Rica begins wondering if she’ll get the chance to thank her “savior” personally.
Rica picks up a brush, dips it into a can of paint and begins writing something on the wall. Kyle, the said savior parks his motorbike outside the building and a moment later, he finds a response Rica had left him. Since the paint is still fresh, he realizes that Rica is close by. He hurries down and tries to catch up with her all to avail since they both go through opposite doors.
