“Gino arrives at Nathan’s fundraising event as a confrontation begins between them while Gary orders Hector to blow up Nathan’s shelter”
Elvie meets with her children and gives them a cheque to give to Nathan. She tells them how proud she is that Nathan wants to put up the shelter but what hurts her the most is that he is doing it because she abandoned them years ago as Lexie and Justin comfort her.
At Justin’s gym, Lexie tells him and Janice that she has sold most of her belongings to gather money for the kids at the shelter and Justin also gives her some money. They ask Janice if Dani is really their social media specialist. Lexie is happy that she and Nathan both agreed to work together but Justin asks if it was a good idea to bring Dani back into Nathan’s life but they say they will hope for the best.
At the shop, James acts as an intermediary between Dani and Nathan relying their information on each other even though they are sited across each other. Nathan said he isn’t like Gino and refuses to accept Dani’s ideas just because she wants to be cute. Dani reiterates it to him that her work with Gino is strictly professional but he only wants attention so they decide to ask each other questions.
Dani asked Nathan if he still l0ves her making Janice and James uncomfortable. Nathan said he doesn’t want her to get hurt and that’s his answer so Dani said they can work together professionally with no strings attached. Nathan also asked Dani if she still l0ves him and Dani said he just answered it for them both so it is clear they will keep things professional as Dani suggests new ideas which everyone accepts.
Regina treats Dani and Watashi to Dani when Janice calls to inform Dani that Nathan agrees with her idea so Dani says she will head there tomorrow. The Next Day, Dani, Nathan, the workers together with Janice family practice what drama to perform as AJ and Janice notices how Nathan stares at Dani.
Gary visits a casino to gamble when Hector brings him his contact which is Irwin the one Elvie hired. Dani receives a text so Nathan asks if that’s her boyfriend. The kids ask if they were a couple but Nathan said it’s in the past. Everyone excused themselves to get an ice cream leaving behind Dani and Nathan as he stared at her.
In the evening, Nathan and his workers practice with the street kids for their upcoming fundraising event. The Next Day, they continued as Dani arrived and took pictures of them but quickly turned the camera away when she saw Nathan looking at her. Nathan tells the kids they will have a place to live once the shelter is done. Dani gives Nathan a report of how their social media is doing.
Nathan snatched her phone and saw a picture of himself on her phone so tells her she hasn’t moved on and is still stalking him but Dani denies it and pinches Nathan when she leaves.
Nathan tells James he will get even with Dani but James tells him to spread the l0ve and no more revenge as Janice looks at them.
At home, Dani keeps laughing when Watashi serves her some water asking if she is okay. The Next Day, Gino goes to Dani’s office asking if she is getting prepared for her upcoming course and also asks about Nathan’s fundraising event and tells her to ask him for help if she needs any help. Dani gives him a document which shows that their project is almost done so Gino praises her but she said Gary deserves the credit since he is leading the project as the other workers interrupted them.
At the shop, James suggests they change their theme for fundraising drama as they begin to discuss. Dani arrives and decides to take a picture of them so the kids tease Nathan that his girlfriend is there to see him. Dani brings up an idea as she and Nathan start arguing again as the kids practice.
At the gambling den, Hector informs Gary that Dani is helping Nathan with his new project and Gino knows about it making him very angry saying he can’t believe Dani’s guts of being close to their mortal enemy and he will fire her soon without caring if Gino will get mad at him. Elvie’s spy Irwin approaches them asking if their deal is still on and Gary says yes as they leave.
Irwin calls Elvie informing her that Gary has already ponded his car so she tells him to make sure Gary sees him as someone he can depend on and when the time is right he should take him down. At the shop, James tells Dani and Nathan to act to motivate the children and tell them what to say. James makes the two of them act out their feelings as Dani hits Nathan for abandoning her.
Later, Nathan decides to treat the street kids to dinner. Dani suggests they use recycled materials to cut down cost as Nathan and Dani continue to argue while staring at each other. In the car, Hector asks Gary what if Gino asks about his car. Gary tells him to stop thinking about that but rather focus on putting a stop to Nathan’s shelter and tells Hector they won’t know what hit them.
The preparations are ongoing for the fundraising event while Gino calls Hector to find out the details of Nathan’s fundraising event. No one turned up for the event at first as everyone looked worried. Lexie and Justin arrive to donate some money. Nathan paces about so James asks if he is waiting for Dani as she arrives and they continue to argue.
Nathan encourages the kids for the upcoming play and tells them to enjoy themselves. The guests arrive to watch the play and donate. Kyle, James gives an emotional speech on stage. A child was nervous to go on stage so Nathan, Dani and James encouraged him so James concludes that Nathan and Dani make a great team.
The play begins as Gino arrives and takes his seat with Justin seeing him. Dani and Nathan congratulate each other as they hug. They were still hugging when the curtains of the stage opened so everybody saw them making Gino unhappy. After the show, Justin tells Nathan and the others about Gino as he approaches them.
Nathan tells him he is just like Gary always spying on him but Gino denied it saying he only came there because Dani is good and reached a lot of people online that’s why he came congratulating Nathan and donates to the shelter but Nathan refuses to accept it so he asks Nathan where he will get the money to build the shelter since his car shop isn’t doing well. Nathan nearly pun¢hed him but the others stopped him.
