“Marissa’s plan to boycott Ceñidoza peals backfires but she finally introduces Jake to Lucing and the Villarosa’s as Jacob”
Ellice’s campaign manager Hector visits Ceñidoza and tells Ellice that there is a mistake with her company campaign videos since it’s been corrupted so they need to reshoot so an angry Ellice lashes out at him since the campaign shoot was expensive and either he reshoots the video in 24hrs or he is fired. Hector said it’s impossible so Ellice tells him to go pack his bags and all this while Chona takes a video of the incident.
Chona sends the video to Tutti who smiles after watching and forwards it back to a surprise Pinky. Blue and Tutti enter Marissa’s office to show her the same video and how it is trending number one as Marissa becomes happy saying “hashtag boycott Ceñidoza Pearls” it’s spreading like wildfire as she flashbacks to when she instructed Chona to take the video at 10:30am so that people can watch at the highest quantity. Chona says okay and Hector also wants in so she will talk to him as they plan on how to spread the video as Marissa smiles.
Gabriel goes to Hope’s room to apologize for not telling her the truth and they didn’t mean to hurt her. Hope asks him why he cheated on Ellice and Gabriel tells her that he had a moment of weakness and that was a big mistake which he still regrets. Hope asks if he really regrets it then why was he cold to her mom even though he cheated. Gabriel tells her that they have another problem but Hope said it’s because he cheated.
Gabriel said she’s right and because of that he lost her mom’s trust and he knows that all this years he has been disrespectful to her when all she wanted was a happy and perfect family so he’s going to try his best for her. Hope asks if he still has a communication between him, the mistress and his son all these years.
Gabriel said No because she left 17 years ago but only came back recently and that’s the reason why they are fighting. Hope asked if he would have left her mom by now if the woman hadn’t left so Gabriel flashbacks to when he decided to marry Marissa and she asked of Hope and Ellice but Gabriel said he will continue being a father to Hope but he chose her.
Gabriel said No and Hope asks him if he l*ved her as Gabriel flashbacks to when he proposed to Marissa as they hugged. He said No again, Hope asks if he is still going to see them and Gabriel said her brother has nothing to do with their problems and he doesn’t know about him but it his responsibility to be a father to him. Hope said she doesn’t want to meet that woman and her son and ask Gabriel to leaves as she cries.
At her Condo, Marissa goes to Jake’s room and sees him asleep while holding his phone, she takes the phone and reads his messages. She flashbacks to when Jake told her that he doesn’t want Hope to get hurt because she has nothing to do with what her parents did and he is thinking that he doesn’t wants to hurt Hope and she’s sorry but she has to do it for him.
Ellice receives a summon from Hector suing her, she asks Pinky why they got a complaint about their labor practices. Pinky asked if she has checked her social media today and shows Ellice the boycott Ceñidoza Pearls campaign shocking Ellice who asked who is behind it.
In the washroom, Charie asked Hope if she’s okay and Hope tells her that she feels relief somehow but she’s glad that she had the chance to let her emotions out so she is glad Jake was there.
Charie said that’s good to know and she’s also there for her also as they hug. Ellice tells Pinky to contact their legal department because they need to issue a statement as soon as possible so that they can do damage control and ask an employee if she has traced the source of the video and she said they are still investigating. Ellice tells them to update her and do something about it now.
Cesar comes to tell Ellice that he’s pretty sure Marissa is behind this mess, Ellice asks him what makes him say that and Cesar said he thinks that she has a spy present at Ceñidoza.
At college, Charie and Hope were passing by when they heard their colleagues gossiping about Hope and Jake not ending up together because Jake has a girlfriend back in Indonesia. Hope asks Charie what makes them say those things so Charie shows her a picture of Jake with another girl as Hope becomes emotional.
Hope and Jake study together at the library. Hope asks him why he didn’t tell her that he already had a girlfriend and she showed him the picture. Jake said they broke up before he came to the Philippines but they’ve connected recently and Hope cries.
Hope said he should have told her earlier because friends don’t keep secrets. Jake apologizes for not telling her as he decided to give her a handkerchief to wipe her tears but Hope refuses and leaves shocking Jake.
At home, Marissa goes to Jake’s room to ask him if the post online with Nikita worked and Jake asked if she’s the one who posted it. Jake flashbacks to when he called Nikita on video call asking for her help so he can break someone’s heart and how he then tried to post the picture but he couldn’t.
Marissa tells him that it’s better this way so that as early as possible he puts an end to what’s going on between he and Hope before things get complicated.
At college, Hope and Jake meet up with their lecturer who guides them about their project. Hope leaves immediately the lecturer was done speaking while ignoring Jake who followed and stopped her.
Hope tells Jake to take the artist part of the project so she takes the research part and Jake said if she wants then he can do everything himself but Hope tells him that he can’t wash away all his guilt by doing all of it as she leaves whilst Jake is looks at her.
Cesar goes to threaten Hector that he knows they set Ellice up and even if he doesn’t tell him the truth he will find out so he better release a statement stating that he was paid to ruin the reputation of Ceñidoza as Hector looks at him.
Marissa meets up with Adelina at a restaurant, she tells her that she heard what happened at Ceñidoza and she’s sure Ellice is panicking so she never fail to impress her. Marissa said she already has her eyes set on her next target and Adelina guessed if it’s the husband and she thinks she can still charm him because she has been gone for 17yrs but Marissa said if she can’t get him, her son will do it for her. Adelina asks if it’s her fake son as Marissa looks at her shocked.
Marissa goes back to her office and a worried Blue and Tutti show her a press release statement from Hector stating that La Sierra paid him to ruin the image of Ceñidoza as Marissa looked tense. Ellice also watches the press release and turns happy as Cesar enters her office and they smile at each other.
Later, Cesar receives a call from Marissa, she tells him that she knows that he thr£atened the guy she paid and he didn’t keep his end of the deal so he will pay. Cesar tells her she’ll never find him and asks about her son and also hopes she’s enjoying her time in Philippines as Marissa becomes worried.
At home, Marissa goes to Jake’s room holding an album containing pictures of her and Jake. she shows the picture to him saying he looks so cute then, Jake said that was their first picture as mom and son after she calmed him down at the orphanage so it turns out Marissa adopted Jake from the orphanage as they reminisce how it happened and hug and Marissa also cries about Jacob.
Carmelita visits Gabriel and Ellice at home,she tells them that she knows they are in a tough situation but they should continue respecting each other and be honest to one another and
no matter what they must fight for their family just like she and Ramon did and also they are planning to celebrate Ramon’s birthday so she is inviting them and it’s a family tradition.
Ellice and Gabriel both said they won’t miss it as Hope arrives. Hope hugs Carmelita and says she’s going to see her as Carmelita leaves. Hope asked if they really have to go and Gabriel said the entire family is looking forward to seeing her.
Later, Ellice goes to Hope’s room, she helps her with her project and tells her that in life there are things that take time to fix and sometimes she needs the help of others. Hope started crying so Ellice became emotional. She asks Hope if she will be there tomorrow but Hope said she wants Lucing to go with her and her family.
At the Condo, Jake flashbacks to when Hope told him that he should have told her that he had a girlfriend. He regrets it and apologized for hurting her because she is important to him but he loves Marissa and he can’t betray her.

Ellice also flash back to when Hope introduced Jake to her as her project partner and when Hope told them that she’ll be going to Jake’s house because his mom wanted to meet her while Jake and Hope look at each other as Hope leaves and Jake follows her.
Hope $laps Jake asking if he knew all along and was just playing her. Jake tells her that Marissa only told him everything after her visit to their house as Hope flashbacks to how indifferent Jake had been after that night.
Hope said she now understands why he has been distant lately but can’t believe he kept the truth from her since the first person she ever trusted is the same person who’s ruining her life and she hat£ him as she leaves while Jake is cries looking at her.
