“Ellice teams up with Andres to investigate the missing funds and expose Marissa while Lucing confronts Gabriel about Jabob’s paternity”.
At the office, Gabriel collects the documents from Ellice and tells her to visit the employees because they’ve all missed her, Ellice said she thinks he’s right as she leaves suspicious of Gabriel and the documents.
Heidi and Gelo go through the market and Gelo introduces her to some kinds of food in the market because she hasn’t eaten street food before. Heidi tells him to stop it because those foods are her favorite as they both eat the food.
Ellice invited a worker(Gilbert) to her officer and apologized for taking away his benefit before and also promoted him as it shocked him. Ellice also tells him that the reason being his health issues and his good service to her company for the past years. He thanks Ellice as he accepted it wholeheartedly and leaves.
The other workers also congratulated him for his new position, He tells them that even though Ellice is the owner of the company she still humbled herself and apologizes to him for her wrong doings as Blue and Tutti eavesdrops on them.
Ellice saw Marissa changing her office table and asked why she did that so Marissa tells her that since Ellice and Gabriel have decorated their office she is also decorating hers and asked Ellice if it looks classic and excuses herself. Ellice looks tensed and flashbacks on when she ordered pinky to put the device under her table as she leaves.
Gelo waits for Heidi at the entrance of her school with her favorite snacks, Heidi excuses herself from her friends telling them that Gelo will be walking her home today as her friends leave. They sat in-front of the school and enjoyed her favorite snack together.
At the work place, both Marissa and Ellice prepared lunch for Gabriel so he became confused between two options either to eat his wife’s food or Marissa’s. Ellice tells Marissa that she’s sorry since her food will go to waste because she has already prepared food for her husband but Marissa said her food won’t go to waste because she also prepared Gabriel’s favorite as Cesar looks at them from afar smiling with Marrissa, Gabriel and Ellice all looking at each other.
Tutti interrupted them that the investors will arrive soon. Marissa then tells Gabriel that they should go to the conference room together as Ellice looks at her angrily.
Right afterwards, Marissa brought two cups of coffee, one for her and the other for Gabriel because they need to take coffee after lunch. Ellice tells her that they are okay because they’re having tea as she can see so Gabriel thanks Marissa for her coffee as she left jealously.
Pinky tells Tutti to cancel Marissa’s schedule because Ellice will be taking over today. Tutti quickly goes to Marissa’s office to inform her about it. Later, Ellice together with Cesar holds a meeting with an investor (who happens to be Cesar and Marissa’s real boss Adelina) telling her that any investment in her company will be worth it and she agrees to invest so Ellice thanks her for trusting her as well as her company. The investor said Ellice doesn’t have an idea about how excited she is to become a part of her company as she and Cesar eyed each other.
After the meeting, Marissa sees the investor and Cesar so she becomes frightened, Ellice introduces Marissa to the investor because Marissa is one of their shareholders as Ellice excuses herself. Marissa and her boss Adelina (the investor) were left behind, Marissa ask her what she’s doing there and she tells Marissa that she wasn’t answering her calls that’s why she came to her instead as she leaves.
Marissa comes to meet Cesar at her office and asks him why their boss was there, Cesar tells her that she came to check out the company that will be benefiting their organization and also find out if Marissa is doing her job well so she should better behave or else Ellice won’t be the only person to know her liaisons since their boss will also become aware of it and that way she will be screwed over twice as Cesar leaves smiling and Marissa becomes frustrated.
Around the dinning table, Gabriel, Ellice and Hope visited his family as Marissa and her family were present as well, Sonya tells Ellice that they’ve heard she’s returning to work and asked if she isn’t happy about Gabriel and Marissa’s management. Ellice tells her that it’s her company so she can go back anytime besides Hope is doing well.
Sonya then asked her if she sure she can leave Hope at home because she might get sick again. Ellice asked what her real issue is with her decision and Sonya asked what will happen to Marissa now that she will be back and Ellice tells her that Marissa was made C.E.O when she wasn’t there but now that she is back she is taking back her position.
Marissa said of course because she was able to lift the company from bankruptcy after a few months she took over the company and was able to fulfill her wishes so Ellice can take back her position. Ellice tells Marissa that she was only able to achieve that with Gabriel’s help and that’s why the company is back on it’s feet.
Gabriel meets Lucing in front of the house, Lucing tells him that she knows the truth that he is the father of Jacob so he shouldn’t try to deny it because Marissa has told her everything concerning the issue. Gabriel tells her to keep it a secret from Ellice. Lucing tells him that if anything happens to her grandson when Ellice and Marissa’s friendship falls apart, she will suggest he hides away as she leaves.
Ellice decides to help Carmelita arrange some things on a table, Ellice asked her if she always looked this busy and that she is beautiful so what is her secret, Carmelita flashbacks on when she saw the documents and tells Ellice that she wants everyone to be happy and that she is proud to be a mother and wife as Ellice becomes sad.
Ellice asked if she will tolerate her husband’s mistake and Carmelita said only if she wants to keep her family together since they exchanged vows for better or worse. Ellice asked her if it’s necessary to hide the truth just to save a marriage and Carmelita tells her that if a family gets separated then those who suffer the most are the children but the mistress wins and she can’t allow that since making sacrifices is part of being a woman.
Ellice calls pinky on the phone that she’s sure that Gabriel’s family already knew that he is the father of Jacob. Pinky asked what she will do next and Ellice said she needs to listen to her lawyer and remove Marissa from her company.
Madam Adelina meets up with Marissa in her car, she tells her that she followed her advice and invested in the company and it’s moving on smoothly. Marissa said as long as she’s running the company their operations will move on smoothly. Adelina asked if Marissa is sure things will move on smoothly or she is being distracted by someone.
Ellice goes through the company documents and finds out that some things don’t add up, She invited pinky to her office for clarification but she said Marissa was in charge of the office at that time.
In the car, Marissa tells her boss that she knows how efficient she is at doing her job since she has proven herself countless times and whatever she heard she shouldn’t believe it. Adelina said she’s just concerned about their organizations operations and Marissa said she will do her job well so Adelina makes it clear to her that she can’t hide anything from her.
Ellice meets up with Andres at a restaurant, she tells Andres to tell her how the money went missing from the company and if he noticed something strange about it. Andres tells her about how he came across an accounting report as he flashbacks to when the money got missing without his knowledge. Ellice then gives him a document that it might be the clue to his solution.
Gabriel barges into Marissa’s office angry and confronts her about Lucing knowing their secret and Jacob’s parternity but she didn’t tell him that her mom is aware of it making him look like f0ol. Marissa apologized to him that her mom forced her to confess to her the truth.
Gabriel isn’t happy about how careless she could be after promising him it will remain a secret because now his parents and her mom are all aware of it so Ellice is probably the next to find out. Marissa cries saying he knows how difficult it is for a single mom but Gabriel is only cares about his family.
Andres returned the documents back to Ellice and tells her that there are some discrepancies in the document. Ellice asks him what he needs in order to get to the bottom of what’s going on and Andres tells her that he needs the original document he approved and the one Marissa also approved so that they can compare it to get to the truth as Cesar looks and eavesdrops on them.
After Marissa arrives home, Gabriel also came there shocking Lucing that Gabriel came there right after Marissa. Gabriel tells her that he came to check up on Jacob. Marissa asks him if he has eaten, Gabriel tells her that he hasn’t eaten yet and Marissa tells him to go to Jacob’s room and she will get him something to eat.
Marissa prepares some food for Gabriel, Lucing tells Marissa that she knows what she’s up to and that she’s in l*ve with Gabriel but Marissa said she’s doing that because he came to spend time with Jacob.
After Gabriel left, Lucing tells Marissa that she’s trying to break Gabriel and Ellice apart and reminds her that Gabriel isn’t going to divorce Ellice because she Lucing herself will make sure that they will continue to stay as husband and wife so Marissa can’t tear them apart as she leaves.
At night, Gabriel tries to get iπtimate with Ellice but she refuses so Gabriel asks her if he has done something wrong and Ellice said she’s just tired. Elsewhere, Marissa soliloquies that her mom Lucing is also against her. She then receives a call from her boss Adelina.
The Next day, Andres calls Ellice on the phone and he tells her that he just found out that Marissa is behind the missing funds because her signature matches the account where the hidden money was transferred to shocking Ellice and all this while Cesar was hiding and eavesdropping on her.
Marissa meets up with her boss Adelina at a restaurant. Adelina tells her that Ceser has informed her that Ellice is investigating the missing funds and she thought Marissa was in control of the situation but it’s getting out of hand.
She then asked Marissa if her priorities have changed because she is losing her edge. Marissa then flashbacks to when she was being rap£d in jail. Adelina asks Marissa if she has forgotten how she got there so Marissa flashbacks to when she was serving Adelina because she facilitated her release and how she was maltreated in prison .
Adelina tells her to bring back her potential because aside from her job for the organization she also has another goal. Marissa asks what she means by that and Adelina said the passion in her eyes for vengeance against those who wronged her.
Marissa asks her how she got to know about it and Adelina said it’s the same reason that brought her to the organization so if care isn’t taken Marissa will go back to where she came from.
At home, Ellice tries making a phone call but the recipient didn’t answer. Elsewhere, Marissa said she will find out who Ellice has been meeting with.
