“William takes over the company as President after gradually destroying his brother’s life and Edward is completely out of control”
Tonight’s episode begins with Grace crying in front of Edward’s door as she turns to leave she bumps into William who asked how she is doing and if she is crying because of Edward and he is there to listen to her. Grace said Edward’s situation is becoming worse and William tells her he is sure everything will be fine but she should let it out and talk to him.
Grace said they need to take Edward to the doctor but William said no because the doctor will say the same thing that is because of the Brian injury but Grace said maybe the doctor can check his meds and prescribe new ones for him but William shouted no so Grace asked why and William said what he means to say is that Grace should convince Edward to stop working and take an indefinite leave and if possible quit his job.
Grace said it’s not possible so William said he will talk to him and find a solution and she shouldn’t worry too much but leave Edward to him.
Later, Joel and Diana meet up with Grace in the parking lot. He tells Grace that he stumbled upon something important and that’s a CCTV footage capturing William and Marcus together. He plays the footage as Grace asked if it’s an old footage but Joel said it’s not an old footage and was taken few days before William accused Marcus of being her rapi$t and she gets flashbacks of all William told her and Edward so they decide to investigate William further to see his connection to the case and what’s happening to Edward.
William destroys things at home and tells Cheri that Grace wants to take Edward to the doctor for a check up and Cherie said Grace is strong willed and needs much convincing for her to stop what she has planned. William tells her to convince Grace to stop influencing Edward because the only person he should be listening to is him.
Edward apologizes to Grace in the car for his reaction seeing her with Joel and she should understand what he is going through because she makes him feel like the worst boyfriend but all he wants is to be with her.
William tells Cheri he can’t have Grace ruining his plans especially now that the effects such as Lightheaded, Lack of concentration and confusion are showing on Edward so he won’t allow it because all these are symptoms that will make it difficult for him to function and soon he will be the president of the company.
While driving Edward begins to sleep and almost causes an accident, Grace asks what the problem is and he says he is fine and it’s nothing. Grace said he should stop losing focus but Edward said he is going to be fine.
Later, Cherie meets up with Grace and pushes her to the ground then apologizes that she is sorry about all that she did lately because she is only concerned.
The family then goes for dinner with Cherie. Grace tells them about Edward almost causing an accident earlier and they all worry about his health. Edward calls up Grace and apologizes again, Grace tells him they should go consult the doctor and Cherie looks at her as Edward hangs up on her saying he is fine.
Marissa tells Grace that Edward will be fine but she can’t take Edward’s words out of her mind and tells everyone about the changes in Edward and what William said about not consulting a doctor so begins to doubt William but Cherie gets angry accusing Grace of doubting William after all the help he renders Edward.
Outside, Grace tells Cherie about a CCTV capturing William and Marcus together and cherie asked if she wants to involve William into her rap£ case. Grace said that’s not the case but there is something suspicious about William that’s why she is also warning her. Cherie said Willam has always been there for her and Grace tells her to be careful and not say she didn’t warn her.
Edward arrives home to see William having dinner with their parents. William tells him that he closed the deal and Anton said who would have thought. William tells them he is not doing drugs anymore and he can think straight and do better and Edward said than who because he was trying to insinuate that but William said it was a simple deal and easy to close, he then starts bragging that it didn’t even take hours to close the deal provoking Edward that he didn’t close the deal so he should admit he messed up or will he ruin everything that they have worked hard to build.
Edward becomes angry and holds his shirt so their parents tell them to stop and Anton tells William to understand because Edward is still sick but Edward said he is not sick and will come back stronger than before as he leaves. William also tells his parents he is going to talk to Edward and follows him to his room.
Inside the room, William punches Edward as he holds his stomach in pain. He asks Edward why he made a scene outside after everything he did for him and whatever is wrong with him he should talk to him.
Edward said he can’t focus, concentrate or drive and he doesn’t know what he is doing so William should help him and he has to see a doctor for checkup and asked if that’s how the OXY works but William said it makes you feel better and his problem is himself because he doesn’t need a doctor so he should just go on a break and begs William for another candy as he gives it to him again. Edward takes it, William then tells himself that Edward should continue taking the candy and ruin his life that way it will benefit him.
In the car, Grace talks to Edward about Willam but Edward said he is sure William is not up to anything bad because he has always helped him throughout his ordeal and they are brothers so William deeply cares for him and he has been even advising him to take a break from work.
At work, Anton lashes out at Edward for signing some documents without reading it. Anton said he is not concentrating and always spaced out and they cannot tolerate incompetence in their company irrespective of who you are so if he can’t handle it then he should leave. William stands beside Edward and asks if Anton wants to fire Edward and Edward says he doesn’t have to say it because he quits.
William pretentiously asked who the hell will take his position if he quits because if it was a single project then maybe but not his position because he is asking too much from him and Edward said he should stop pretending like he is not interested in his job and it has been proven that William can bring money to the company so he should take the job.
William said okay if that will make him recover and give him peace of mind then he will take over his position as president of the company.
The lady whose case Grace is handling comes running with her partner chasing after her to the law firm but John and Grace defend the lady and ask the man to leave but the guy keeps begging the lady to come back to him because he is sorry.
William cunningly asked Anton if he is okay with what Edward wants and Anton said he can’t object since he has proven himself so he will talk to the board and he will be ready to go. William tells Edward to take a vacation and take as much time as he wants. Edward said he should go do his thing and he will do his as William smiles.
The lady wants to forgive her partner and Grace tells her to make her choice and she forgives him as they leave together.
Edward packs up his things from the office and tells willam he never knew a day will come for him to leave the company since he was so sure of himself that he could run the company and be an attorney at the same time and this is how his life has been reduced while crying and takes Grace’s picture.
William said he understands what he is thinking and he is getting a lot of sentiments and Edward asked him what Grace will think of him now but William said if she really l*ves him then she will support him but if she leaves him too then he and the family are there for him.
Edward said he is sure Grace l*ves him and William said he and his parents do too. Edward tells William that Grace will wait for him and he can promise William that.
In the car, Edward takes Grace’s picture and gets flashbacks of all the times Grace has supported him telling himself that he will come back for Grace and be strong for her.
William meets with Cherie in a restaurant to tell her that finally the company is under his contol as they celebrate that he is now President and Edward will never come back since he is on his way down and they keep climbing higher. William asked Cherie who the loser is now and she said Attorney Edward and Grace. She also thanks William for putting Grace in her place.
Joel visits Grace at work to talk about Edward and his problems but Grace defends Edward. Joel tells her she is acting like an abused woman. Edward enters the building with flowers and sees Joel with Grace asking what Joel is doing there again and exchanging words with Joel.
Joel tells him he still cares about Grace and won’t let him treat her anyhow. Edward loses his cool as they begin to fight and everyone rushes to separate them. Edward tells Joel that Grace will be his wife so he shouldn’t interfere in their case so he can sue him for physical injury and he should leave his office and Joel tells him they will see each other in court.
Edward goes to his office angry and Grace follows him to talk to him asking why he’s behaving like that with Joel. Edward tells her he is sorry and asks what exactly he should have done seeing them together and if she wants him to welcome Joel with open hands and ask if she even know why he acts like that and it’s because of her he gave up everything including his family business but he can never give Grace up and the craziest thing is that he was happy to see her until he saw her with her ex.
Grace tells him she doesn’t understand why he is being insecure since they trust each other and Edward starts shouting that he knows that but he just doesn’t know what’s right or wrong anymore and he is losing control and doesn’t know what’s going on anymore so he needs her to leave his office. Grace tries to comfort her but he shouts at her to go and she begins to cry.
At home, Stella brings Edward some food in his room but he said he is not hungry and he just wants to rest. Stella tells him they are just concerned about him and glad she listened to them and took a break from work.
Grace talks to Marissa at home about how much Edward is changing and she encourages her that Edward will be fine.
