We begin tonight’s episode with Dana dreaming of been in handcuffs as she picks up Adam’s pictures and his words started echoing in her mind about Adam telling her she won’t be president or CEO. She wakes up and gets flashbacks of when Attorney Marquez reads the will. She tells herself she has to stop feeling guilty because Jia has always been Adam’s favorite.
Jia and Kai wait for her friends and also talk about RJ&E with Jia saying she now understands why Adam deducted that amount of money from Dana’s inheritance and wondered why Adam never told her the truth about what Dana did. Jia said Dana will pay for what she did to RJ&E and she will make sure of that.
Dana visits David to look for Jai and David said she is out working after she stole what Jia worked for. Dana said Jia is living with her husband who she stole but David made it clear they are already divorced.
Dana said she’s there to offer 270 million to Jia in exchange for her silence on the ha¢king issue but she refused to admit she was behind it saying she’s just buying peace of mind to stop Jia from causing trouble.
Dana tells David to give the Cheque to Jia but David said she should genuinely apologize to Jia because money alone cannot fix their problems. Dana said he and Jia hurt her and she wants Jia to d!e leaving the cheque behind as she leaves.
Gab packs up his things telling Amanda the police are already suspecting them all because of her statement so they should leave to prevent them from going to jail but Amanda tells him to calm down because they are close to getting his share in order to have a good life. Gab said they are standing in the way of justice but Amanda said only the weak listen to their conscience.
Jia visits the police station and overhears that Amanda is a suspect. Simon and his partner ask Jia if she thinks Gab is responsible but she doubts it. Jia then gets a call from the former IT head and she agrees to meet with him.
Jia and Simon meet with the IT head who apologize for not bringing the truth out earlier. He said manny asked him to make a copy of Adam’s email and he created a back up after sending it to manny and then deleted it so that by the time that Dana saw the Email it was already the draft so if they can get a hold of Manny’s laptop they can prove everything. Jia calls someone to allow her to ride with her to the company. She arrives at the company with the IT Head.
Lucy is in a board meeting when her assistant is informed that Jia is in the building so she decides to go tell Lucy. Her assist interrupts the meeting informing Lucy that Jia is in the building and at Manny’s office.
Jia and the IT guy found the Email, and she asked him to save it on a USB and send it to all the employees. Adam’s video goes viral and every gets a copy shocking Dana and Lucy.
Jia calls kai to tell her she found the email of Adam appointing her CEO and President of Dragon Empire Builders so she can walk in and out of the company anytime so she can seek justice for Adam.
Lucy and Dana interrupts the call $mashing Jia’s phone saying Jia is really asking for trouble. Jia said she a wong too so they can’t stop her from entering the company.
Jia shows them the email asking if they want to cover it up. The board members arrive saying they should all calm down because they will have the email checked by IT experts outside the company and are surprised the email has been released now even though it was scheduled to be released weeks ago.
Kai arrives to check on Jai but she said she is fine.
At home, Lucy asks Dana if she is hiding something because she is afraid she will do something impulsive. Lucy tells her to behave and lay low because one wrong move and she will be suspected of Adam’s murder again.
Dana said Jia took everything away from her and now the company so she can’t lie low but Lucy tells her they need to plan everything well or they might be the first one to go down. Lucy receives a call and she tells Dana that it has been confirmed that the email is legit and from Adam’s office computer so they should think of a plan tomorrow. It turns out Dana went to buy a guπ.
Kai and David tell jai Adam made her CEO because he believes in her capabilities and since Dana and Lucy are bent on selling the company this might be the only way to stop the sale. Jai said it’s unlike her to claim what other people worked hard for and she is not like Dana because all she wants is justice for Adam.
Jia’s appointment is all over the news. Jia gets a text message stating that the board members have agreed that she is the new president and CEO of Dragon Empires Builders as text messages keep flooding in on her phone. David comes to inform Jia that there are reporters outside waiting to interview her and Kai tells her to make a statement since everyone is waiting for her decision.
Is all over the news that Jia has announced that the company is not for sale and all the employees are happy. Amanda tells Gab she is happy that Lucy and Dana are getting what they deserve, Gab said they should brace themselves because the worst is yet to come. Amanda said things are changing and she is sure Dana and Lucy will try to stop it but there’s nothing they can do.
At home, Kai tells jai that by tomorrow everything will change for her and she knows Adam left her a huge responsibility but she’s sure Jai can do it.
Later, David and Jia talk about Michael and she thanks him for all his support and also they will be moving out soon. Jia said everyone knows the position belongs to Dana but she is not sure she will accept it.
David gives Jia the Cheque from Dana and Jia asks if Dana is admitting she is behind the ha¢king and if Dana thinks by paying her off she will escape the consequences of her actions.
David tells Patrick if jai and Kai leave his house things will never be the same. He then ask him to deposit the Cheque Dana gave them into Jia’s account.
Jia arrives at work to meet Amanda and Gab already at the entrance welcoming her as president and pledge their support for her. Amanda said she should let them into the building but jai said it’s only her first day so she will see what she can do.
Jia is welcomed by all the employees. In her office, she gets a flashback of the time Adam died staring at his picture. Jia is informed she has a board meeting. Jia calls kai to check up on her and she tell her mom she will see Lucy and Dana in 15 minutes at a board meeting and she is on her way to her dad’s office.
Dana is already in Adam’s office when Jai arrive. Dana calls her an opportunist telling her to keep dreaming on if she thinks she will seat in Adam’s chair.
Jia doesn’t mind her so Dana pushes her and Jia asked if she has no respect for anyone and wants them to fight in their father’s office where he died so she shouldn’t push her over the edge because if Dana thinks by paying what she stole from RJ&E they are done then she’s mistaken and no matter what she says she doesn’t owe her anything. They both receive a call of the board meeting.
Dana talks to her bankers saying she didn’t authorize the Cheque for 270 million so they shouldn’t honor it.
Jia arrives at the board meeting to Lucy’s anger. Dana arrives too and Lucy ask what the majority’s decision is regarding Jia’s appointment and they know her stand because Dana is the president asking if they want her to stand down for Jia.
The board said they should honor Adam’s decision now that the media is onto them so the company cannot take any more negative publicity and the person who had Adam’s email deleted and concealed Jia’s appointment should be held accountable.
Lucy said Adam made the decision without consulting them but the board said Adam knew what he was doing and every move he made was for the good of the company. Dana said this appointment is a mistake and she suggests they buy out their shares.
Lucy said as the legal wife of Adam and she has the power to decide who should be appointed president of the company. Jia said they don’t need to fight because she only came there to Honor Adam’s final wishes and not to 0verthrow them.
Jia said she only have some directives that they should follow and that’s as the appointed CEO they will never sell the company and all employees will remain at post also she can move in and out of the company and will remained them not everyone cares about power and money.
Lucy said the deal is fair enough so from now onwards she appoints her Detective Jia Wong as they laugh.
