We begin tonight’s episode at the hospital with Grace telling her mom about deciding to give Edward a chance and thanks for her support after all that happened to her.
Edward is recovering and thanks Grace for being there for him and for trusting him so he promised to always be there to protect, understand and also to l*ve her. He gets a call from his mom to check up on him, he tells his he’s okay and promises she will meet his girlfriend soon since their anniversary is coming up. After the call he tells Grace his mom wants to meet her.
Edward is discharged from the hospital accompanied by Grace, Liz appears calling him sweetie and all over him saying she came as soon as she found out, she offers to drive Edward home and tells Grace she will take it from there but Edward says he’s okay and introduces Grace as his girlfriend surprising her as they leave together.
Liz looks on at them, she asks John who Grace really is because she has seen her before but thought she was just a random friend of Edward. John said it’s a long and complicated story because she is supposed to be Edward’s client and Liz asks what happened to her so he should spill beans and she just wants to make sure Edward is in good hands so John tells her everything about Grace.
Grace gets ready to go meet Edward and Diana takes her back to dress her up propely. She looks so beautiful after Diana dressed her probably and applied some makeup on her. Her mom is happy to see her looking beautiful and encourages her.
Edward arrives at his parents anniversary dinner with Grace, his parents are happy to see Grace the lovely girl their son keeps talking about. Grace wished them a happy anniversary and they ask her and Edward to sit beside them.
Liz arrives too and Edward’s parents admire how beautiful she is and thank her for finding time to be in their mist making Grace a little uncomfortable.
Edward is so sweet with Grace and after serving her some food leaves to check up on something. Edward’s father asks Grace if she was born blind and what happened to her as liz spies on them.
Edward meets his brother Willam outside and he looked like the one who abus£d Grace. He tells Edward he wants to go to the party.
Liz interrupts Edward’s parents saying Grace had an accident and joins their table. She tells Edward’s parents Grace is rap€ victim so they apologize to her because they didn’t know. Liz makes Grace feel so uncomfortable repeating she’s a rap€ victim and that’s so terrible as Grace gets flashbacks of the night she was rap£d as they keep talking about it she decided to go to the rest room and bumps into a waiter. Edward’s father and John tries to help Grace up but she cries telling them to leave them alone reliving that night’s events and screams while shouting catching everyone’s attention.
William begs Edward to go in but he refuses since he doesn’t want any commotion at the party so he tells Edward to go inside and have fun so he goes elsewhere to drink.
Grace cries until Edward comes in to comfort her, he asks what happened and his mom said Grace has been abus£d so Edward asked how they found out with Liz saying he has to tell his parents and they thought Grace had moved on and didn’t expect her to react that way.
Edward gets mad at Liz for doing that to Grace in front of so many people, Grace tells him to take her home so his parents also tell him to take Grace home and apologize to her. Liz smiles and feigns concern that she hopes Grace will be okay.
Edward apologized to Grace in the car and asked if she’s doing fine but she continues to cry for embarrassing him in front of his parents
Edward tells her they are just shocked to find out she’s a rap€ victim but there will be so many opportunities for his parents to get to know her. Edward said she has been such a strong person even after all she has gone through so she shouldn’t worry about his parents because she is a beautiful person so she shouldn’t forget that.
At home,Grace tells her mom about what happened at the party and she tells her not to worry since Edward l*ves and supports her. Charrie listens in on their conversation.
Edward confronts Liz about why she did that to Grace and how she found out about her past. Liz said she only wanted to find out more about Grace but Edward said she doesn’t have the right to tell his parents or the nerve to tell everyone present at the party asking what she wants to achieve. She apologizes but Edward tells her to remember that Grace is his girlfriend and he sees a future with her so she shouldn’t think they will ever get back together.
Edward’s parents talked to him about what happened with Grace that they weren’t expecting this and they were shocked to find out his girlfriend is a rap£ victim but Edward makes it clear Grace is a rap£ survival that she survived everything and now moving on but his mom said Grace hasn’t moved on because she looked helpless.
Edward’s dad said it’s not easy for rap£ victims to move on because they need much time and effort but Edward said why are they judging Grace’s tragic past but his dad said it’s a past that will always be brought up and associated with her and Edward is just confused. Edward said he truly loves Grace because she gives him the courage to stand for what he believes in but can’t say that for his past relationships so they should see how happy he is with Grace and how important she is to him.
Grace sets up the Dinning table and mistakenly bumps into charrie who gets angry at her, she asked if charrie has a problem but she gets angry at her over Joel again. Grace said she has nothing to do with Joel so she should solve her problem with Joel but charrie begins to !nsult her sister with her usual nons€nse until Grace had enough and tells charrie to respect her so she leaves angry as Grace cries.
Joel comes to talk to Grace again at work, she talks to him about Charrie when Edward interrupts them asking if there’s a problem so Joel leaves.
Joel meets up with Charrie and she gets angry with him for not picking up his calls. Joel tells her to stop blaming Grace for their relationship problems. She said she wants a true relationship so he should forget about Grace.
Edward takes Grace to lunch, she asks what his parents think about her but Edward only gets flash back of what his parents said about Grace not moving on. Grace said she understands their reservations about her but Edward tells her to not worry. Grace said she shouldn’t be his girlfriend so they should end it but Edward tells her to slow down.
Edward tells her she doesn’t need to prove anything because she’s a fighter and she’s more giving and l0ving than anyone else and he l*ves her telling her to stop crying.
Joel and charri celebrate their anniversary together, Joel sees Cherri as Grace and admires her. Cherri asked if he’s okay and l*ves him but he just continues to drink.
Cherri brings a drunk Joel home, when he sees Grace he’s all over her crying and begging her to forgive him and he f0rcefully hugs her. Next Episode of Legally Blind Wednesday 3rd August 2022
