No Greater Love Episode 12

“Samuel and Isabel secretly become a couple, while their families plan to marry Isabel to Franco. Eduardo opposes the arrangement, creating major tension.”

The episode begins with Isabel arriving home, where her mother immediately asks where she has been. Isabel explains that she went to the old house and shares how peaceful she feels whenever she visits there.

Meanwhile, Samuel still has Isabel’s diary and reads a page where she writes that she hopes they can clear up their misunderstandings. After realizing her diary is missing, Isabel rushes back to the old mansion and happily finds it there.

Samuel secretly watches her leave with a smile. When Isabel opens it, she discovers someone has written encouraging words inside. Confused, she wonders who it could be. Franco soon arrives, snatches the diary, and tries to read it, but returns it when Isabel becomes angry.

She warns Franco that no one has the right to read her diary except her. He apologizes, while Rebecca, who has been watching, becomes troubled as she begins to understand what is truly in Isabel’s heart.

Later, Rebecca confides in Franco, admitting that something in Isabel has changed. Franco agrees and reveals that Isabel had stayed at Samuel’s home when she ran away. Rebecca makes him promise not to tell anyone, just as he kept quiet before, and he agrees. Rebecca is left in tears.

Isabel returns the diary to the place where she dropped it and leaves. Later, Samuel retrieves it again and reads another page where Isabel thanks the mysterious person writing in it. Mona arrives and asks what he is reading.

Samuel lies, saying it is just a book. When she asks to read it too, he refuses and instead vaguely describes it as the story of a Isabel’s life. Mona says it sounds boring. Elsewhere, Gonzalo tells Maximo and Miranda that they should move forward with Franco and Isabel’s marriage.

Maximo questions how they will convince Isabel, since even Eduardo would object if he knew she did not love Franco. Rebecca then arrives and assures them that she will persuade Isabel to accept the marriage.

Later, Miranda worries that Eduardo has not been told about the arrangement. Maximo is unconcerned, saying Eduardo would oppose it anyway if he learned the children had no say in the matter. He also reminds Miranda that Franco is her son, not Eduardo’s to decide for.

Gonzalo thanks Rebecca for finally helping the family, but Rebecca looks unhappy. She fears Isabel may suffer the same fate she did by marrying a man she did not love. Still, she believes she is doing what is necessary to save the family from financial ruin.

Deep down, she also knows she is trying to prevent Isabel from falling in love with Samuel.
Maximo shares the marriage news with Franco, who is thrilled. Franco claims he made it happen by convincing Rebecca, and Maximo proudly notes that his grandson is becoming more like him.

Meanwhile, Samuel receives the scholarship Eduardo promised him, though he worries Elena may not allow him to go. Instead, Elena warmly tells him it is his right to pursue his dreams and attend college. Samuel is overjoyed.

Miranda, however, is furious that Eduardo is helping Samuel and growing closer to the Severinos. She complains that Franco is suffering because of it. Eduardo sharply warns her never to question his love for Franco.

Isabel continues writing in her diary and leaving it at the old mansion, hoping to meet the mysterious writer. Soledad advises her to let the mystery remain, but Isabel insists on knowing the truth. Franco later invites her to dinner, which she rejects until Rebecca pressures her to go.

While waiting for Isabel, Rebecca checks her room and realizes she is gone. At the same time, Samuel retrieves the diary and is reading it when Isabel catches him. In tears, she asks why he never told her it was him and accuses him of making a fool of her.

Samuel explains he only wanted to encourage her, but Isabel angrily walks away. Soledad comforts Isabel, who says she is hurt because Samuel read all her private thoughts and could have spoken to her openly instead of hiding behind mystery. Soledad gently explains why Samuel may have acted that way.

Samuel later admits to Mona that the “book” she saw was actually Isabel’s diary. Mona tells him it was wrong to read it. Samuel agrees and says he regrets it, though he would do it again because it helped him understand Isabel. He confesses he has feelings for her.

Mona is heartbroken but hides her tears. Samuel asks her to keep his secret, and she agrees while warning him not to let his feelings grow too deep.
Alone later, Mona cries as she realizes she has always loved Samuel.

Rebecca then scolds Isabel for avoiding Franco. Isabel accuses her mother of trying to push her toward him. Rebecca admits Franco is the best match for her, but Isabel tearfully begs her not to force her into a loveless marriage the way Rebecca once was.

When Rebecca asks who she truly loves, Isabel confesses that she is in love with Samuel. Rebecca warns her to give up those feelings and reminds her of the consequences of loving a worker.

Later, Samuel returns to the old mansion and finds Isabel’s diary. As he reaches for it, Isabel appears behind him and asks if they can be friends again. Surprised, Samuel asks if she has forgiven him. Isabel admits she overreacted, and the two happily reconcile.

Meanwhile, Pacquito informs the workers that their demands have been met and urges them to return to work. Though Romeo remains skeptical, the workers agree. Samuel then takes Isabel to the sea, where they spend joyful time together. Their secret meetings continue for days.

Samuel tells Isabel how important she is to him and admits he kissed her because he loves her. Isabel happily confesses she has felt the same since childhood but never showed it. They embrace, overjoyed to finally be together.

Though thrilled to now be a couple, Samuel worries about how their families will react.
Elsewhere, Franco tells Maximo and Gonzalo that he plans to propose to Isabel. Maximo advises skipping the proposal and going straight to marriage, but Franco is confident she will accept, especially with Rebecca’s support.

Isabel asks Samuel to keep their relationship secret. Samuel wants to tell Mona, but Isabel fears her father will separate them if anyone finds out. Samuel promises no one will tear them apart again and agrees to keep their love hidden. They embrace happily.

Elena later overhears Miranda and Rebecca discussing Franco and Isabel’s wedding plans. At the same time, Isabel visits Samuel at work, where they dream aloud about marrying someday, having children, and building a home together.

Samuel kisses her and tells her how much he loves her. Meanwhile, the workers begin suspecting they are not receiving the pay they were promised because Gonzalo is going bankrupt. Mona suggests they speak to Samuel, though some feel it is unnecessary.

Noticing Samuel’s cheerful mood, Mona asks why he seems so happy. He says it is because his grandfather is recovering and he is going to college. She also mentions that both he and Isabel were missing earlier and asks if they were together, but Samuel denies it.

Mona warns him that the rich always belong with the rich. Elsewhere, Isabel writes happily in her diary about her love for Samuel. Elena tells Trinidad about Isabel’s arranged marriage to Franco, but believes Samuel should not know.

Later, Gonzalo, Miranda, and Maximo discuss the marriage plans, saying the wedding will follow immediately after the engagement. Eduardo overhears and demands to know whether Franco and Isabel have agreed.

Gonzalo arrogantly replies that he decides what is best for his daughter. Eduardo strongly objects, saying children should not be forced into marriage.
Gonzalo insists love can grow later, but Eduardo refuses to support forcing Isabel.

Maximo tells Eduardo not to interfere, but Eduardo reminds them that Franco is his son too and he will decide whether any wedding happens.Gonzalo argues that arranged marriages are family tradition, but Eduardo remains firm.

He says there will be no marriage and questions why they are so eager to force it. He insists that if Franco and Isabel truly love each other, they will marry on their own. Eduardo warns that if they continue with these plans, they will be going against him.
