Ivy’s Crusade Against The Ardientes Reaches A Boiling Point. Diego Remains ResoluteIn His Quest for Redemption.
As Carlota drove home, Arnaldo’s car suddenly appeared, blocking her path. “Where’s Ivy?” he demanded, his brow furrowed with concern. Carlota’s eyes narrowed, and she replied coolly, “Ivy can take care of herself.”
Arnaldo’s expression turned skeptical, but Carlota refused to budge. Just as Julio arrived, Carlota’s resolve crumbled, and she revealed that Ivy was with Diego. Julio’s face darkened, and he ordered Arnaldo to follow him.
At the farm cooperative, Julio’s anger boiled over as the farmers denied seeing Diego or Ivy. “You’re hiding them,” he accused, his voice dripping with malice. Ivy, however, stood tall, reminding him that she had bought the land for the farmers and that he would regret threatening them.
Meanwhile, Ivy confided in Diego about the atrocities his family had committed against hers. She spoke of Raul’s harassment of Camia, Emilia’s role in her father’s death, and the brutal treatment Camia had endured at the hands of Emilia’s men.
Diego’s face contorted in anguish as he listened, and he vowed to help Ivy seek justice. But Ivy’s pain ran too deep, and she asked him to leave. Despite Ivy’s rejection, Diego’s determination to make amends only grew stronger.
He swore to help her bring his family to justice, no matter the cost. Emilia, on the other hand, was frantic to find Raul’s body, convinced that Ivy and Camia were still alive. When Madrigal reported finding nothing, Emilia’s obsession only intensified.
She discovered that Raul’s aunt had been hiding a dark secret: Camia was alive, and Raul had been protecting her. As Emilia confronted Raul about Camia, Diego sought out Raul to confront him about his family’s wrongdoings.
But Julio intervened, demanding to know where Ivy was. Diego refused to betray her, even when Julio threatened to harm the farmers. Arnaldo’s discovery of Camia’s survival sent him scurrying to Julio, but Diego’s encounter with Raul revealed a shocking truth: he wasn’t an Ardiente by blood.
Ivy’s desperation to restore her mother’s memories drove her to seek out old photographs and books, hoping they might trigger Camia’s recall. Jepoy’s warning about Emilia’s pursuit only heightened Ivy’s sense of urgency.
Meanwhile, Julio locked Emilia in her room, determined to handle the situation himself. But Emilia’s pleas eventually swayed Arnaldo, and together they set out to find Ivy. As Ivy prepared for a showdown, she surrounded herself with loyal men, ordering them to guard the resort.
Camia’s eyes widened as she recognized her husband and daughter in the photographs Ivy had brought. Tears streamed down her face as memories long buried began to resurface. Read Next Episode on Wildflower Episode 29
