Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 2

The Tius Strive To Deal With The Aftermath of the Engagement Scandal. Bingo Saves Caroline’s Life.

The episode begins with Wilson being informed about a problem. Meanwhile, Andrei is thrown out of GLC when it’s discovered that he isn’t a guest. He sees the black car that had caused the accident and prevented him from being able to make his pitch and as he goes to confront the driver, he bumps into Caroline and his nose begins bleeding.

Upon seeing him, Caroline gets alarmed and quickly speeds away in her car. In the meantime, security tries to revive Bingo after he collapses. The Liaos are pretty upset after seeing the video of the confrontation earlier.

Edward shamefully asks Olivia to tell everyone the truth and as expected, she denies Caroline’s accusations, saying that she’s delusional. Irene points out that she gets that way every 17th on her mother’s death anniversary.

Carlo talks to his mother about the recent scandal involving the Liaos and Tius. Gina urges her son to be of good behavior so he’ll have a better chance at being Wilson’s successor as president of GLC.  Bingo returns home and whines to Snoop his best friend about the ordeal he’s been through.

Caroline hangs out with Jersey and Stephen and when the latter lectures her on the scandal she had caused, she ditches them. Grandma Nene and everyone else excitedly welcome Bingo home, thinking that they’re going to be rich soon.

However, they begin to fret when they learn that he had been late because he got hit by a bus. Caroline checks into a hotel and charges the receptionist to tell no one of her whereabouts. She takes a moment to relax in the bathtub in contemplation and takes some pills.

As she sleeps later on, her stepmother suddenly shows up and wakes her up, saying that she needs to get dressed for a meeting. A moment later, Bettina confronts Caroline about the scandal she caused and she apologizes for how she said it. She however insists that it’s the truth.

Like her mother, Bettina demands for Caroline to apologize publicly to the Liaos but she refuses to budge. After Cindy throws a fit, Bettina slaps Caroline and coming upon the scene, Wilson calls for order and declares that Caroline will apologize to the Liaos to end the issue once and for all.

In no time, Caroline packs up her stuff to leave the house for good and Cindy gloats as she goes. When Bingo learns that Grandma Nene has been having blurry vision of late, he insists on taking her to the hospital for a checkup.

He soon makes a clandestine deal for the old woman’s eye transplant with some guys. Caroline talks to Charleston on the phone and asks to stay at the Eclipse since flights at the airport have been delayed.

She heads over to the yacht unbeknownst to her that she’s being targeted by a criminal gang in a scheme. Bingo retrieves some money he had buried which his mother had left him before disappearing.

He meets up with one of the guys at the port, unknown to him that the group has hired his best friend as their getaway driver. The two masked goons sneak into the yacht to abduct Caroline and Snoop chickens out and runs into Bingo on his way out. He flees after trying in vain to convince him to leave.

In the meantime, Caroline fights off the goons and jumps into the water. Upon hearing the commotion, Bingo quickly takes action to save her. He performs CPR to revive her, only to be held at güñpoint by the head of the goons.

Bingo and Caroline are both taken as captives but fortunately, Bingo negotiates with one of the kidñappérs and trades his money for freedom. He slips out with Caroline and the other goons go in search upon noticing their disappearance. Bingo desperately tries to make Caroline regain consciousness.
