Emma’s Escape, Elias’ Loyalty, and Matias’ Shocking Confession
Camila was overwhelmed with emotion, repeating the words no over and over again through her tears. Meanwhile, Elias rushed to inform Aran and Ingrid that they needed to start searching for Emma immediately. But before anything could be done, Aran told Elias that there was something important he had to know. Camila arrived at the site where Vito was located.
She frantically asked about Emma, and Alejandro informed her that Emma was still trapped inside the building that had recently expl0ded. They were waiting for the rescue team before attempting to retrieve her. Ignoring the danger, Camila tried to run into the debris-filled building. Vito and Inspector Alejandro tried to restrain her, but eventually, Camila broke free and entered the wreckage to search for her daughter.
Vito turned his attention to Luna, asking if she needed to be taken to the hospital. Luna refused, insisting they had to find Emma first. Elias also arrived and questioned both Vito and Luna about Emma’s whereabouts. Luna attempted to speak to him, but Elias had no interest in anything other than finding Emma. Vito explained that Emma was still inside the collapsed structure.
Without hesitation, Elias ran toward it, brushing past everyone who tried to stop him. His heart raced with fear and urgency. Luna was stunned by how determined Elias was, especially since he ignored her completely. Inside the ruins, Elias and Camila accidentally collided and went their separate ways in the frantic search for Emma.
Elias’s mind flooded with memories of Emma especially her smile, their moments together, and the recent confession of her feelings for him. Those thoughts fueled his determination. Finally, after calling out her name countless times, Elias heard a faint reply. He turned and found Emma slumped in a corner, barely conscious. She looked exhausted and weak. As Elias approached her, she collapsed into his arms.
Camila caught sight of Elias carrying Emma and felt a wave of relief. Despite the fear still gripping her heart, she saw a glimmer of hope. She instructed Elias to hurry her to the hospital. The rescue team that Alejandro had been waiting for had already arrived. They quickly lifted Emma onto a stretcher and loaded her into an ambulance.
Camila and Elias joined Emma in the ambulance while Luna watched in disbelief. Meanwhile, Alice was smiling smugly as she brushed her hair, unaware that things were falling apart. At their hideout, Agnes arrived to inform her that their mission to eliminate Emma had failed. Alice sneered and sarcastically asked if Emma had nine lives.
A flashback revealed how Emma managed to escape the expl0sion. While tied to a chair, she struggled intensely until the chair toppled over and the rope came loose. She untied herself and fled moments before the b0mb detonated. Furious, Alice lashed out at Agnes and demanded that she locate Matias and Aurora immediately. Agnes was confused by Alice’s outrage.
In a fit of anger, Alice threw her out. Afterward, she returned to her dead lover’s body, touching him gently and whispering apologies for failing to get rid of Emma. She smothered the lifeless body with affection. At the hospital, the doctor delivered some positive news. He explained that Emma had no fractures according to the X-ray and only suffered minor bruises.
Elias sat by Emma’s bedside, gently holding her hand. Camila quietly watched before excusing herself, claiming she needed to check on Luna to give Elias and Emma some time alone. Elias spoke softly to the unconscious Emma, saying he thought he had lost her and that the news of what happened nearly broke him. He expressed how none of their past arguments mattered anymore.
All he wanted was another chance to be with her. He begged her to wake up so he could finally confess how deeply he felt. Elsewhere, Tessa anxiously told Luna that her grandmother had been so worried her blood pressure spiked. Tessa caressed Luna’s face as they walked with Vito. When they encountered Camila, Tessa confronted her, blaming her for dragging Luna into a dangerous mess because of the life she once led.
Luna defended Camila, insisting that she had saved her life and that the danger wasn’t Camila’s fault. She reminded Tessa how difficult the decision must have been for Camila to choose between saving her or Emma. Tessa warned her daughter not to believe everything Camila said. Camila remained silent throughout the confrontation.
Later, Camila confided in Vito, admitting she felt like a failure as a mother. Luna mistakenly believed Camila had chosen to save her, but in truth, Camila had gone in for Emma and didn’t know how to tell Luna. Vito comforted her, saying both children were safe and that she hadn’t failed them. As he hugged her, Tessa appeared and burned with jealousy and rage.
At the hospital, Matias intercepted Elias. Elias was surprised to see him, asking why he had come out of hiding. Matias explained that he had been found and now Elias was in danger because their enemies knew he was alive and had met with Elias. Matias urged him to leave Las Espadas, but Elias refused. He was determined to stay by Emma’s side.
Matias pleaded with him, but Elias pushed back, demanding to know what his father was so afraid of. Elias then confronted Matias about the truth behind Javier Dela Cuesta’s death. Matias confessed that he was the k!ller and the reason Camila was imprisoned. Shocked, Elias reminded him that the k!ller had a tattoo. Matias revealed that he had his altered and showed it to Elias. The reality finally sank in.
Matias recounted the events: when Camila and Javier were arguing, he sneaked up, made Camila unconscious by covering her face, and left her collapsed on the floor. Javier was stunned, unable to $hoot the masked intruder. They fought, and Matias $tabbed Javier before wiping off the blood. He admitted he was consumed by power during his time with the Primo Diablo drug syndicate and made countless mistakes.
Elias was horrified. He asked if he and his siblings were just another mistake. Matias insisted he had changed when he became a farmer and met Elias’s mother. He claimed he l0ved his family dearly. Meanwhile, Guada gently touched Emma’s hair, heartbroken to see her go through so much. Luis reassured her that Emma was strong and a survivor.
Elsewhere, Alice was livid that Emma had survived. After the storm settled, Elias blamed himself for everything, unaware his own father was the real culprit. Matias asked for forgiveness, but Elias turned away. Camila ran into Alice and asked whether she saw the attacker’s face. Alice denied it, saying they wore masks. She also lied, saying she left her phone in Emma’s hospital room and went to retrieve it.
Camila, unsuspecting, allowed her to go. When Emma regained consciousness, she saw Alice. Emma recalled the incident and asked about Alice’s driver. Alice said the driver died and advised her to focus on recovery. Then, she tried manipulating Emma, suggesting Camila had chosen Luna over her. Emma, still hurting, agreed that she had saved herself alone.
Tessa later threw a tantrum, thr€atening to take Luna to the United States where they would be safe. After Alice left, Camila entered Emma’s room and broke down, saying she lost her mind when she saw her daughter trapped. Emma, still wounded emotionally, said she was fine. She noted that Camila taught her to be strong and independent a lesson that helped her survive when Camila went for Luna.
Camila was heartbroken by Emma’s words. She tried to explain that she and Vito split up to rescue both girls. She insisted that what mattered was that they were safe. She recalled Fabio and confessed she couldn’t bear losing Emma too, especially after what happened to him. She ki$$ed Emma’s hand tenderly.
Meanwhile, Matias continued urging Elias to leave, but Elias stood firm. Matias finally decided to stay in Las Espadas to protect his son. Elias demanded to know who his father was so afraid of now that Luciano was dead. Matias avoided answering directly but told him to keep his distance from Camila and her adopted daughter.
Camila later visited Fabio. She remembered how strict she had been with Emma, but also how deeply she loved her. She cried, feeling responsible for putting Emma in danger and breaking her heart.
