Edward Remains Stubborn To Fulfill His Ambitious Dream. The Evergreen Staff Plot To Scare Him Away For Good.
The episode begins with Edward and his family making pleasantries with a widower they had transacted business with. Later, Edward has a talk with his father about how he had acquired a piece of land they’ve been guññing for. Kokoy asks his mother to send off Monmon to his dad so they can lessen their expenses.
Berta takes offense, declaring that as she promised her sister, she won’t take Monmon to his “devilish father”. At the Evergreen mansion, Jane tells Brock that she’ll say her last goodbye to her brother after she deals with the unfinished business with her father.
In the physics realm, Paul and the others bring Edward into the property to show him where they saw the pool of blood. They begin blabbering about the place being haunted. Valerie suggests that they should look for someplace else to set up the restaurant-bar but Edward will hear none of it since he’s already invested in the property.
The Evergreen staff discuss the situation, pondering over how to scare off Edward and his friends for good before they get driven away by a real powerful psychic. A moment later, Edward is exasperated to see Jane outside the property and when he questions her, she claims that she’s Cecille, a real estate agent.
Later, Jane tells Mr. Guzman about her plan to stop Edward by making friends with him. That night while Monmon goes to get a glass of water in the kitchen, a masked creep sneaks into the house and searches through some documents. Upon seeing him, Monmon sounds the alarm and the guy makes a run for it.
The next day, Edward gets the labourers together again and urges them to resume work. Jane puts her plan into motion as she approaches Edward while he’s by himself. She begins badmouthing the property, making deliberate attempts to convince Edward that it would be hopeless to put time and resources into it because it’s a disaster waiting to happen.
Mr. Guzman manifests himself to help sell the act, posing as a supposed billionaire who wants to buy the property for a noble, charity cause. Still, Edward turns a deaf ear to Jane’s warnings, stating that he won’t change his mind whatsoever. Valerie meets up with Edward and strives to convince him to let go of the mansion while Jane and company spy.
She states that he’s been having problems with his family because of “that stupid dream of his”. Edward takes offense at that and Valerie apologizes. Still, some choice words are exchanged and eventually, Valerie storms off. Alice checks up on Monmon after the burglary incident last night.
Berta then proceeds to the police station to ask for an update about the hit-and-run that k!lled her niece. The officer urges her to be careful since the burglary could be related to Jane’s mûrdër. In her office, Alice reflects on some memories with her late best friend. She then examines one of the black roses she had received before.
Meanwhile, Andrea has an exchange of opinions with her son over his risky business plan. She’s exasperated when Robert supports Edward, particularly because he hadn’t even asked for their permission.
After Edward leaves, she expresses her disapproval, not wanting history to repeat itself again. Robert relates with her but points out that it’s on the both of them to take care of their son and trust him. Jane continues to spy as the episode ends.
