“Camila’s Secret Intervention Saves Emma But A Viral Video Threatens Everything”
Emma and Elias spent the night together in the forest. When Emma awoke, she found Elias asleep beside her and gently stroked his face, asking if it was truly him. Elias then stirred and reassured her that she was now safe. As morning arrived, Elias greeted Emma and mentioned that she had slept deeply.
He inquired about what she had actually seen the previous night, and Emma replied that she had seen the killer bride. Meanwhile, Luis learned from Luciano that Juan Felipe was searching for Emma, so he hurried after them. The police, led by the major, managed to corner Elias and Emma, pointing their guns at the pair.
Suddenly, a gunshot rang out, injuring one of the officers in the legs. Vito and Aran, who had been tracking Elias, heard the gunfire, prompting the major and the police to take cover. It was revealed that Camila fired the shot to prevent Emma from being killed. Emma was rushed to the hospital.
Elias explained to Vito that the shooter had saved both him and Emma, as Juan Felipe and the police were about to open fire on them. The authorities debated what to do with Emma, and the doctor disclosed that Emma had been injected with the same drug dosage that Andres received.
Felipe interrogated Tatiana once again, but she denied killing Justino, insisting instead that Emma was the one who committed the murder out of revenge. Elias informed Emma that the police intended to question her about Justino’s death. Emma was shocked to hear that Justino had died.
She explained that since she had been missing, people suspected her of killing him. Elias asked what had happened to her when the lights went out. Emma recounted how someone had grabbed her and covered her nose, causing her to lose consciousness. She woke up in a cave.
Elias explained that she had been drugged with the same substance as Mr. Andres, but fortunately, its effects on her were less severe. Camila, disguised as a nurse, came to visit Emma. Elias was present, so Camila told him he was needed downstairs.
Recognizing Camila as her foster mother, Emma encouraged Elias to leave, allowing them a moment alone.
Camila embraced Emma, expressing relief that she had been found in the woods; otherwise, Juan Felipe would have killed her to keep his secret safe. Emma was grateful to learn it was Camila who had rescued her. She admitted to Camila that she feared losing her sanity from being trapped in the cave, especially since the killer bride kept appearing in her visions.
Camila assured her that ghosts do not exist and that whatever she saw was only meant to frighten her. Emma also confided in Camila about being framed for Justino’s murder. Camila reassured Emma there was no fingerprint evidence linking her to the crime. She encouraged Emma to be brave and promised she would never abandon her.
Camila also revealed that Elias never gave up on finding Emma, even when everyone else had lost hope. She told Emma that Elias genuinely cared for her, and Emma admitted that she had played along to earn Elias’ trust. Elias then returned to the room. Upon noticing him, Camila quickly changed the subject, saying she would collect Emma’s blood samples later.
Elias grew suspicious, noting that she looked familiar. Camila claimed she was the nurse who had treated him when he brought Andres to the hospital. Back at home, Elias found Ingrid upset and questioning the nature of his relationship with Emma. Elias explained that he was simply helping her.
Meanwhile, Emma began to hallucinate, seeing the killer bride trying to stab her, but she awoke to find Manay Ichu by her side. Manay Ichu encouraged Emma, telling her she would become stronger after surviving such a trying ordeal. Emma expressed gratitude for Manay Ichu’s kindness, and Manay Ichu said she felt a motherly bond with her and would always support her.
Camila spoke with Ornusa, asking if Emma had mentioned anything about Elias. Ornusa said Tatiana had teased her about Elias. Camila instructed Ornusa to keep a close eye on Emma once she returned to the mansion. Camila spotted Felipe and recalled his earlier attempts to harm Emma, even trying to run him over.
At the police station, Emma was interrogated and recounted her experiences. The officers doubted her story and questioned whether she really believed the killer bride was responsible for Justino’s death. Emma said she didn’t know. The inspector also asked if she knew anything about the shooting in the woods that injured one of his men.
Emma said she had no knowledge because she herself was held at gunpoint. Intoy told Elias that Ingrid’s concerns were understandable, given the dangers in the woods. Elias admitted that he had seen the killer bride too but couldn’t say for sure if she was a spirit.
Luis confronted Felipe about his attempt to kill Emma, but Felipe denied the accusation. Instead, he shifted the blame, saying someone tried to run him over and that his men had failed to catch the culprit. He added that a shooting incident had occurred in San Lucas De Oro, implying Emma was involved in wrongdoing.
At the Dela Cuesta residence, Luna continued to blame Emma for Justino’s death. Vito defended Emma, suggesting she might be a victim since she was injected with the same drug as Andres. Luna left to attend Justino’s funeral. Her friends informed her that Elias had rescued Emma and that Emma claimed the killer bride had abducted her.
Emma, Manay Ichu, and Tsoknat arrived at the funeral. Luna was angered to see Emma there. Tsoknat cautioned that bringing Emma might not have been wise. Manay Ichu pointed out that Luna’s attitude implied Emma was guilty of the heinous crime. Emma agreed with Manay Ichu’s observation.
Suddenly, a video of Emma and Justino circulated online. Luna asserted that since Justino had pressured her, Emma might have killed him and demanded Emma’s arrest. The Dela Torres family, en route to the funeral, saw the viral video. Luciano remarked that Emma was full of surprises.
Manay Ichu questioned Luna, asking if she was a cop for calling Emma’s arrest. Luna argued that Emma had no alibi, denied the existence of the killer bride, and insisted Emma committed the crime no one would believe otherwise. Elias confirmed the existence of the killer bride, stating that both he and Emma had seen her while in the woods.
