The Remnants of Task Force Agila Face Their Toughest Battle Ever. Cardo Finally Fulfils His Lifelong Mission With Oscar’s Help.
While president Hidalgo’s team try to secure the camp, Cardo comes out looking all forlorn. When he’s asked about major Victor and Roxanne’s team, he tells them of their terrible fate with such a heavy heart.
Ramil and his team join them and there’s more bad news as they reveal how they had been tricked into k!lling some of their allies, namely Jerome, Soriano and co. As Oscar strives to strengthen the resolve of the guys, Renato launches an all-out âssaült with his men.
The Eagles are compelled to retreat, all the while trying their darnedest to hold off the enemy. The güñ battle drags on and as the Eagles are outnumbered like always, Diana gives the charge for Cardo to carry on with the president while the others stay back and keep the enemies at bay.
When Cardo leaves with Oscar, the rest of Task Force Agila struggle to hold off the goons. As fate will have it, they’re overpowered and are güñnêd down ultimately; Billy, Patrick, Greco, Ramil and finally, Diana.
Eventually, Renato towers over Diana and after talking smack, he riddles her body with büllets. In the meantime, Cardo has Oscar carry on so he can hold off what’s left of the goons. However, Oscar comes across some of the goons and exchanges büllets with them until he runs out of ammo.
He’s compelled to surrender, or make it look like he is. He manages to outsmart and overpower them. Meanwhile, our favorite hero holds his own against Renato’s minions but ends up getting güñnêd down by yours truly, Renato Hipolito.
President Hidalgo resurfaces and while Hipolito is busy gloating over Cardo as he lays there bloodied and lifeless, he fires intensely, taking out the goons and Renato as well. It is then that pointless reinforcement arrives. Later, the president honors the fallen members of Task Force Agila.
As our favorite hero recuperates, Oscar visits him and he’s devastated to find out that none of his comrades had survived. Cardo is soon reunited with his family – Yolly, Elmo and the kids. However, he breaks down upon learning of the passing of Grandma Flora during his absence.
After getting out of the hospital, Cardo visits Flora’s gravesite and reflect on their memories together. He decides not to leave the police force entirely but to relocate to his hometown to serve there in order to be closer to his family.
On his way to Botolan, Cardo reflects on his journey so far and ultimately comes across a young woman standing by the seashore. For some reason, he pulls over, walks up to her and calls her by name. It’s Maria Isabel, a.k.a Mara. The show comes to a conclusion as Cardo and Mara smile at each other.
