Mara Saves Aurora From Eduardo’s Henchmen. Albert Asks Lily For A Favor, Putting Him At Odds With Lito. Cardo & The Eagles Prepare For Their Mission.
Aurora makes a run for it while the goons chase her. She manages to evade them and hide inside the confession booth in the church. Don Ignacio is throwing a fit and cursing at his brother since he’s gone AWOL with the ransom money.
As he worries for his daughter’s safety, the goons break into groups to cover more ground and find their target quicker. Eventually, one catches Aurora at her hiding spot and as he lays his hands on her, who would come to the rescue out of nowhere? Mara.
A flashback shows how Mara had noticed Aurora running into the confession booth while she had been praying. And the goons that followed close by. That’s when she smelled trouble and intervened. Presently, Mara rescues Aurora from the clutches of the goons and as they flee the church, they’re stopped by more of Eduardo’s men.
Mara has Aurora hide while she takes care of business. Initially, she has trouble battling the last of the goons, a big scumbâg but manages to overpower him eventually. Mara escapes with Aurora on her motorbike as Eduardo arrives with backup. Man throws a fit.
In the meantime, Albert calls Lily on the phone to request for the reinstatement of the black ops into service. Lily agrees to help them but after the election. She then calls Lito to talk to him about the stunt Albert just pulled. Cardo and Task Force Agila discuss their upcoming mission.
They make preparations for it, somewhat hopeful that they would succeed with luck and Armando on their side. Oh how pitiful these guys are. Anyway, Lucas and Samuel have a talk about Armando’s exploitation of Cardo and his group.
Samuel notes that they have to tread carefully since Armando only cares about his ambitions. Lito calls Albert to question him about the stunt he pulled. He decides not to eliminate him and his group just yet. Later, the guys try to convince Albert to blackmail Lily with the evidence they have against her.
For some reason, Lily compels Mariano to help grant Albert’s request. Oscar heads to his favorite spot to gather strength and courage for the battle ahead – his spot with Aurora before in the past. The episode concludes with Mara driving Aurora.
