Laviña Decides To Play Nice While Still Plotting Against Elvie & Her Family. The Zamoras Become Complacent With Their So-called Reconciliation With Andrei’s Family.
The episode begins with Marvi at her mother’s gravesite with her family. She tells them about what her mother was like when she was alive. Meanwhile, Andrei confronts Laviña over what she did and makes clear his family’s intention to sue her.
Emilio is exasperated, even as the witch justifies her actions. Later, Laviña spirals into a new low as she gets herself drunk and miserable. She gives her son the cold shoulder when he shows concern for her.
Xavier goes to see his brother and tries to convince him not to push through with the case against his mother. Emilio tells Laviña that Elvie and Andrei won’t be pressing charges anymore if she’s willing to make amends.
The witch decides to honor the dinner invitation of the Zamoras where she puts on a show of apologizing. She doesn’t object when Emilio declares that he would settle their bank loans so they’re not evicted from their houses.
Later, Laviña plays nice with Jamie and her family and urges Emilio to put in a good word for Jomer (Jamie’s brother) so he can be allowed to retake the scholarship exams. Laviña resumes her secret plotting with Patricia and Cedric.
The Zamoras have breakfast together and catch up with each other. Everyone is glad when Jomer reveals that he’s been allowed to retake the scholarship exams. Andrei says he would be the one to settle their loans since he’s now a part of the family.
In the meantime, Laviña asks for Cedric’s help to think of a way to get Elvie out of hers and Emilio’s life for good. Paula hangs out with Luke and agrees to make an appearance alongside his daughter at his upcoming birthday dinner.
Andrei and Camille and their team make considerable progress with their project at United Tech. Aljo goes with Becca for an ultrasound and they’re glad to find out that they would be having a baby boy.
Xavier goes out of his way to help Jomer prepare adequately for the scholarship exams, which earns him Jamie’s admiration and gratitude. Andrei and Camille dine together with Emilio and Laviña. Laviña continues with her act as she offers to help out the young couple with the preparations for their church wedding.
