Paula & Luke Finally Receive Koleene’s Blessing. Laviña Connives With Patricia & Cedric. Elvie, Marvi, & Paula See A Glimmer Of Hope When The Scammer Surrenders.
Marvi worries about her husband’s safety and as she discusses with Elvie and Paula how to find him, Myke returns home all bruised. At United Tech, Andrei and Camille have a talk with their team on how to deal with the fallout of the investment scam.
Later at dinner, Myke tells the family of his ordeal and apologizes for leaving without telling anyone. Andrei makes known his suspicion that his father was the one who paid up the recruits to cause trouble.
Emilio is left pondering over his encounters with Andrei and what Ben had to say about how he wants his son to fail and crawl back to him. Laviña comes over and when questioned about everything that has been happening with Elvie and her family, she plays dumb and begins whining.The family gets together to celebrate the holidays.
Camille hangs out with Andrei and expresses her worries over the possibility that they could lose their homes even if they win the case. Andrei relates with her. Laviña continues to pit the recruits against Elvie’s family while the miserable Cedric looks on. Myke sells off his old car to pay Marvi, Elvie and Paula a portion of the money they lost.
Jamie is bashed by her schoolmates on account of the investment scam. One in particular provokes her to the point where she slaps her. Laviña continues to plot with Patricia to ruin Elvie’s family along with Cedric. The basher brings her mother along to confront Jamie at home.
Though Jamie apologizes for the incident, that doesn’t stop the mother from berating and thrëâtening them.Marvi puts her in her place. Jason’s partner decides to leave him for good, fed up with his criminal ways and it’s bad publicity.
Paula is delighted when Koleene finally gives her and Luke her blessing for them to be together. In an interesting turn of events, Jason turns himself in into the police. Commotion breaks out at the police station amidst his victims.
Laviña gets into it with Elvie’s family and Andrei puts her in her place. Jason is brought out to give his statement to the press. Laviña is gloating. A flashback reveals how Cedric had paid off the scammer to implicate the Zamoras as the masterminds.
Presently, Laviña is appalled when Jason declares Elvie and her family innocent of the crime. Laviña later picks another fight with the Zamoras. Upon her return home, Xavier tries in vain to talk some sense into her. Upset, Laviña tries to slap him and Emilio stops her.
