Camille Has Another Encounter With The Arrogant Businessman. Andrei Makes A Desperate Last-ditch Attempt To Save His Project.
Andrei arrives at Link Telecom company and calls the hospital to request for the details of the woman he had brought in last night. He asks his buddy Cedric to track her down. During a business presentation, Andrei chews out Cedric’s team, unimpressed with their proposition.
While washing the dishes, Camille informs her aunties about her breakup with Ric and they bombard her with a barrage of questions. As head of Infinity Tech, a subsidiary of Link Telecom, Andrei works tirelessly with his team on a better proposition to present to the board.
Xavier (Andrei’s stepbrother) makes a presentation for Link Telecom that impresses the board and his father Emilio. Andrei gets his turn and is cross-examined by Emilio. Patricia his estranged partner sabotages him by spelling out the problems of the project.
At the coffee shop, a regular customer is impressed with Camille’s qualities and skills in marketing and science and technology. Camille is delighted when Martin Mercado (Commissioner of Department of Communications) offers to hire her once there’s an opening in his company.
Upset over the stunt Patricia had pulled, Andrei becomes determined to get the needed funding for his project with the government’s help. With Cedric’s help, they head over to the coffee shop in hopes of finding Mr. Mercado and convincing him to invest in them.
Doesn’t go as planned though. Andrei has an encounter with Camille and questions her about the bracelet. That night, he has a nightmare about an unfortunate incident from his childhood when his mother had disappeared on him.
The next morning, he skips dinner, hell-bent on getting the funding for his project in spite of his father’s disapproval.Elvira, Marvi and Paula discuss Camille’s recent encounter with Andrei and the bracelet. It seems to have a connection to some secret they had shared with Judith that has something to do with the bracelet.
Camille has another unfriendly encounter with Andrei when he shows up at the coffee shop again with Cedric in tow. Andrei finally gets to talk to Mr. Mercado but he turns him down because of a past incident. Andrei goes drinking with Cedric, actually upset over it.
Cedric gives him a reality check, noting that his inconsiderate actions had caused Mr. Mercado a lot. Eventually, Andrei goes to see Camille at the coffee shop to make her an offer so she could set up a meeting for him with Mr. Mercado since they seem close. Camille turns him down, appalled, only for Andrei to offer to pay her 5 times her salary.
