The Truth Prevails In spite Of The Unjust Consequences Of Ali’s Actions. Helena Is Beset With Worry Following Diego’s Sudden Confession.
The episode begins with Eric arriving at the hospital and making a scene while Ali tries to revive his father. One of Rosales’ men shows up to restrain him for a while. Eloy soon arrives too and he shoves Eric away as he tries to go after Ali.
Fortunately, Ali manages to revive Diego before Rosales finally shows up to contain the situation. Eric continues whining and threatening to sue them. Hugo tends to get worried and becomes determined to go and see Ali when he learns of what had happened.
Queenie and the cooks get in his way, preventing him from leaving the mansion. However, he calms down when he gets to talk to Eloy on the phone and he assures him that Ali is fine. At the Fajardos, Eloy tells Margie and Pat about the incident and Ali expresses her worries over Eric’s thrëâts.
They then deliberate on how to prove that she wasn’t responsible for Diego’s heart attäçk. Helena and Evangelista gloat over the recent incident.Eloy accompanies Ali and her family to the office of the prosecutor, with Atty. Badayos and San Pedro on her defense team.
Diego and his attorney make it their mission to incriminate Ali but then things take a surprising turn when Diego calls the prosecutor on the phone to clear things up and thank Ali for saving him.
Later, he tells Ali about the evidence he has against Helena.
It’s revealed that Fred had gone to see Diego with Rosales and convinced him to right his wrongs. Diego’s caretaker notifies Eric about the things his father had told Ali. Ali informs Eloy and the others about the evidence against Helena.
Eric rears his ugly head to stare daggers in their direction. Hugo is glad and relieved when Ali returns home with Eloy. He gives them a day off from work. Grandma Heart is delighted to get a job at Grand Horizon.
In the meantime, Helena becomes desperate to get rid of the recordings that could be used against her. Eloy takes Ali along to his mother’s grave to introduce her. Ultimately, Margie and Pat arrive home only to be approached by Jay.
